Rod Serling
Rod Serling is widely known for hosting and writing the iconic television series “The Twilight Zone”. He is also remembered for his other writing work, including the teleplays “Patterns” and “Requiem for a Heavyweight“. Serling was a prominent figure in the early days of television, known for his ability to explore social issues and his role as a champion of artistic freedom in the medium.
It is said that science fiction and fantasy are two different things. Science fiction is the improbable made possible, and fantasy is the impossible made probable.
“You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You’ve just crossed over into… the Twilight Zone.”
